African Development Bank Launches ENNOVA AI Platform to Boost Entrepreneurship. The African Development Bank’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab has launched ENNOVA, an AI-powered platform designed to connect entrepreneurs, enterprise support organizations, educational institutions, and investors across Africa.

The unveiling took place on February 26 at the 12th Sankalp Africa Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, an annual event focused on entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

Impact and Adoption

Following the launch, over 500 attendees at the summit registered for ENNOVA. Panelists, including Muriel Akiko, CEO of Zuhura Innovation Africa, emphasized its value in scaling startups and fostering collaboration.

Additionally, the Bank sponsored two youth entrepreneurs to attend the summit. Nduta Karanja, an edtech entrepreneur, highlighted the event’s focus on closing the gender investment gap, while Joshwa Tambo, a consultant, praised ENNOVA’s potential to strengthen Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

With technology and innovation at its core, ENNOVA aims to enhance skills development and job opportunities, especially for youth and women across Africa.
