BTA2023 Flourish Africa has launched its 2026 Business Grant Program (Cohort 5) to support female entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
The initiative combines funding, mentorship, and training to help women build sustainable and scalable businesses.
The program has a five-year fund of ₦1.3 billion and aims to empower 2,500 female-owned businesses. Each year, 500 entrepreneurs join a four-month virtual training program, with the top 100 receiving grants of up to ₦3 million to expand operations and strengthen their enterprises.
Participants also gain access to mentorship, business networks, and market opportunities, ensuring they have the skills and connections to grow.
“This program is designed to help women entrepreneurs overcome barriers and succeed in competitive markets,” the organizers said.
The initiative not only provides financial support but also contributes to job creation, economic growth, and gender equality across Nigeria, reinforcing the role of women in the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
