African Entrepreneurship Academy Urges Entrepreneurs to Harness AI for Sales Growth

The African Entrepreneurship Academy has called on African entrepreneurs to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools to enhance sales performance and accelerate business growth.

Speaking at the recent Digi Tools and AI breakfast event, academy leaders emphasized that adopting technology-driven solutions is no longer optional for businesses aiming to compete in today’s market.

“AI and digital tools are transforming the way businesses reach customers, streamline operations, and scale revenue. Entrepreneurs who adopt these technologies now will be best positioned for growth,” said one academy representative.

The event highlighted practical applications of AI, including customer analytics, sales forecasting, and automated marketing, which can help entrepreneurs optimize operations and improve decision-making.

Participants were encouraged to integrate AI solutions into daily business processes, with an emphasis on leveraging affordable and accessible tools suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The academy also linked AI adoption to broader economic opportunities, noting that digitally empowered businesses can expand market reach, improve productivity, and contribute to Africa’s economic transformation.

“Entrepreneurs must move beyond traditional methods and embrace innovation. AI is not the future—it is the present, and its adoption will define success in competitive markets,” the academy added.
