BTA2023 President John Dramani Mahama has revealed that several suspects linked to the National Service Authority (NSA) financial scandal have gone into hiding, prompting an urgent search by security agencies.
Delivering his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) in his second term on Thursday, February 27, President Mahama assured the nation that he had directed law enforcement agencies to declare the fugitives wanted and ensure their immediate arrest.
“This blatant misappropriation of state funds will not go unpunished,” he asserted, reaffirming his administration’s firm stance against corruption.
Crackdown on Corruption
President Mahama emphasized the need to hold those responsible accountable to restore public trust and maintain financial integrity. He confirmed that efforts were being intensified to track down the suspects and bring them to justice.
