Volta Region to Host Groundbreaking 24-Hour Trade and Investment Fair in November 2025

Volta Region Gears Up for 2025 Trade and Investment Fair with 24-Hour Economic Drive

The Volta Region is poised to become the epicentre of Ghana’s economic transformation as it prepares to host the seventh edition of the Volta Trade and Investment Fair, scheduled for November 26 to December 8, 2025.

Organized by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) for the Eastern, Volta, and Oti Regions, in partnership with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) under the leadership of Regional Minister James Gunu, this year’s fair is set to be the most ambitious yet.

A Game-Changer: Ghana’s First 24-Hour Fair Days

Under the theme, “Volta Rising: Building Global Partnerships for a Thriving 24-Hour Economy,” the 2025 fair will debut 24-hour fair days, pioneering a model that promotes night-time economic activity in alignment with the Government of Ghana’s 24-hour economy agenda.

The round-the-clock format is expected to boost attendance, extend business hours, and maximize opportunities for B2B engagements, networking, and trade, making it a true catalyst for local and national economic growth.

Volta as Ghana’s Eastern Gateway to Regional Markets

At the heart of this year’s fair is a strategic mission: to reposition the Volta Region as Ghana’s Eastern Gateway to regional and continental markets, including Togo, Benin, Nigeria, and Cameroon.

Through a vibrant showcase of the region’s natural resources, tourism assets, and economic potential, the fair aims to attract both local and international investors and accelerate Volta’s integration into regional and global value chains.

Confirmed exhibitors and participants include companies and organizations from Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Namibia, Kenya, India, and Malaysia, reflecting the fair’s growing global reach.

Key Sectors and Strategic Forums

This year’s fair will spotlight strategic sectors such as:

  • Agribusiness

A Platform for Jobs, Wealth Creation, and Partnerships

Organizers emphasize that the fair is not merely an exhibition, but a driver of long-term economic empowerment, job creation, and sustainable development.

“We are inviting the private sector, government agencies, development partners, and foreign missions to be part of this transformative event,” they said.

“This year’s fair will be the most ambitious yet—and the Volta Region is ready.”

With its unique format, cross-border appeal, and focus on real impact, the 2025 Volta Trade and Investment Fair is set to leave a lasting mark on Ghana’s economic landscape.
