BTA2023 WAN-Hive Ghana has reached a significant milestone as it celebrates its 4th anniversary. Marking the occasion, the organization unveiled a state-of-the-art office and launched two groundbreaking initiatives under the theme: “Her Space, Her Voice, Her Future: Defining Her Path Forward.”
The event was a testament to WAN-Hive’s unwavering commitment to empowering women, fostering innovation, and creating inclusive opportunities for leadership and growth.

The anniversary celebration brought together partners, stakeholders, and community members who reflected on WAN-Hive’s transformative journey. A representative of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) delivered a powerful keynote address, commending WAN-Hive’s impactful work.
“WAN-Hive stands as a beacon of hope for young women, championing innovation and community development. As an alumna of UENR, its CEO is an inspiration to our students,” remarked the representative.

Janat Issifu, CEO of WAN-Hive Ghana, shared an inspiring speech that traced the organization’s journey from vision to reality.
“What began as a dream to provide women with tools, resources, and networks for meaningful careers and ventures has grown into a movement,” she said. “This new office symbolizes the dreams we nurture, the voices we amplify, and the futures we are shaping together.”
Launch of Two Groundbreaking Initiatives
The event featured the unveiling of two innovative programs aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and creators:
1. Addiz Creatives
A specialized fashion hub equipped with cutting-edge machines and professional workspaces. Addiz Creatives is designed to support designers, especially those in underserved communities. The hub also offers training programs to help aspiring fashion designers turn their passions into sustainable professions.
2. WAN-Hive Multimedia
A dynamic creative space equipped with modern facilities, including a 3D printer maker space, photography studio, graphic design services, and printing solutions. This initiative empowers innovators to bring their creative ideas to life, offering them the tools and resources they need for success.

The newly inaugurated office is a collaborative hub designed to inspire creativity and leadership. Key features include:
- Modern training rooms for workshops and mentorship sessions.
