African Entrepreneurship Academy Launches DigiTools Initiative for 10,000 Entrepreneurs

On Friday, 25th July, the African Entrepreneurship Academy (AEA) officially launched a bold and transformative initiative aimed at training and equipping 10,000 entrepreneurs and skilled professionals with essential digital skills and tools to help them thrive in today’s digital economy.

The initiative was being carried out in strategic partnership with the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and FEPTAG, reinforcing a shared commitment to digital inclusion, entrepreneurship development, and economic empowerment.

A Powerful Start: Training Session Welcomes 300+ Participants

The opening session attracted over 300 enthusiastic participants from diverse backgrounds—aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and skilled professionals—who are determined to leverage digital tools to grow and scale their ventures.

This high-impact training event featured expert-led training sessions and interactive learning, setting the tone for the months ahead.

Expert-Led Training Sessions

The launch session featured three distinguished facilitators who delivered focused, practical, and engaging presentations:

  • David Fosu led a session on “Creating a Digital Presence for Businesses,” guiding participants through strategies to establish and grow their online footprint effectively.

  • Nicholas Gyamfi provided in-depth insights on Social Media Marketing, helping attendees understand how to use digital platforms to engage audiences and promote their brands.

  • Francis Sabutey introduced participants to AI Tools for Business, demonstrating how entrepreneurs can harness artificial intelligence to streamline operations and make data-informed decisions.

A Resounding Response from Participants

The energy, participation, and feedback from attendees were overwhelmingly positive. The enthusiasm expressed by participants affirms the urgent need for continued efforts to bridge the digital skills gap within Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“This session exceeded my expectations. I now have the tools and confidence to take my business online,” one participant shared.

Looking Ahead: Join the Movement

The training event is only the beginning of what promises to be a game-changing initiative. In the coming months, AEA and its partners will host a series of virtual training sessions on digital platforms like Zoom or Google Meet, designed to reach and empower thousands more.

AEA’s Commitment to Inclusive Digital Growth

“Access to digital tools and knowledge is no longer optional—it is essential”, said by President and Founder of AEA, Mr. Wilson Senya.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering entrepreneurs with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in the modern economy.

“Together, we are building a future where every entrepreneur, regardless of background, is equipped to compete, innovate, and thrive in the digital age”.
